I’ve often thought this about Mommybloggers. I work outside the home and rarely turn the computer on at home especially on the weekends. They put up new blogs morning, noon and night as well as talk on forums all day long. When would they be taking care of the kids or cooking or any of the things they claim they do? Now I have the answer! I’ve noticed as one of the main volunteers with my children’s scout troops, PTO/PTAs and classrooms that the ONLY ones who volunteer at all are the working moms who sacrifice vacation days to do this work for ALL the kids. Mommybloggers, get off your butts and help out at your children’s school so that people like me don’t have to volunteer for everything so that the planned activities aren’t cancelled.

Jane, excellently written! Loved it.
Have you been watching me?? My kids ate Burger King tonight. Why?? I was writing! I do go to places and think, “This would be blog-worthy!” I call my dh “JNerd” with is blessing and use pseudonyms for the kids. I use my own name. But I don’t write things that are not true. And I realized that if I got them all involved, they would understand. So my daughter has her own blog, the kids have a review blog and dh has his own, as well. It also helps that I make a teensy amount of money writing on other sites.

We won’t even talk about twitter and twitpic!
