You spoke to my heart, soul, inner child, and older oh so tired woman. WOW, there is little anyone can add about capturing so much of the human spirit in this wonderful piece of writing. You are so talented, God Speed.

The only word I can think of is "humid" (it is humid here, but aside from the climate)- the cadence of this piece, the mood, the visuals evoked, made me feel wrapped in humidity-somewhat comforting and uncomfortable at the same time- and the deep vague sadness & insatiable longing/pressure that settles in the bones for so long I forget why or what brought it on. I know that heart in the ribs.

Thank you for this piece Jane.

Gigantic hugs.

Is this a description of how you feel about the blog, us, life in general? Your writing is like poetry. So many layers to explore.
