Your results were interesting. I'm especially intrigued by how the strangers rated you so similarly. I would hope if someone were using a scale to rate me that I'd come out as neurotic. I've always wanted to be neurotic.

Fascinating results, Jane.

And nothing is truer, especially these days, than "The ability to perform at a job well often depends much less on a person’s personality than on their basic abilities and desire to earn a living."

Aware of your love affair with coffee, your keen desire to make a fair and decent living, and your talent with words, I think the popular coffee shop missed a golden opportunity.

Wow, that was an impressive study you engineered. "Judgement " is an interesting area filled with land mines.Especially the judgements we place on "words" like conscientious or neuroticism, or as we might say-One man's trash is another man's treasure. It's very hard to create a true picture (and what is true) in a brief time or test.
I have spent two months interviewing people to form an opinion for the best outcome for two foster children, and with each story-the picture becomes muddier instead of more clear. And I have some serious training in assessment. Now, I'm not sure I trust my own judgements; well, except for you ...you're a pistol!

Very interesting. Funny I just remembered that my husband had to take a personality test at a job and his boss got the results I think... Anyway what comes to mind is that first of all I think these test pretty much are as valid as a horoscope and yes I have a MA in Psychology, and secondly they do take interpretation skills of sorts to not be used against people as purely a way of labeling and judging them. If places like the coffee shop were really interested in knowing if somebody was a good fit then they would do better to sit down with a person and take the time to get to know them. Far more useful.
